It’s a tough job, changing the world for people in Oldham but someone has to do it. Everything we do is about building relationships and making things better for the longer term. Working with us is a great way to show that you are looking to make a difference. It can help to build your brand profile, increase brand loyalty and inspire your teams as well as making a huge difference to the people of Oldham.
We’ve been running this project since 2016 and every year the numbers needing our support continue to increase. Unfortunately, the funding does not. In 2016/17 we worked with 478 individuals and in 2020/21 we worked with 801 people. In 2021/22 we supported 1402 people, an increase of 93% on the number we expected. Bohle MD, Dave Broxton and Purchasing Manager, Chanel Paul recently visited the Ancora Project hub in Oldham Library to present a cheque to Ancora staff.
Dave Broxton said: “Bohle has a long history of supporting local charities and organisations through our CSR programme. At a time when there is a perfect storm of reduced welfare funding and increased demand for support, we are delighted to continue our partnership with the Ancora team, who offer immediate access to practical help and ongoing support to local people in crisis situations.”

£19 means we can support an individual to access a money management course to help themselves out of poverty.
£195 enables us to supply a tablet and data to get someone online for a year.
